What does banqueting service involve?
- Setting up tables, chairs, buffets and decoration according to the function sheet

Requirements

Many hotels have a permanent banqueting team and add casual staff for big events. There are full-time, part-time and mini-job positions, and demand peaks during the wedding and Christmas party seasons.

From service staff you can move up to banquet supervisor, banquet manager or conference and banqueting sales. If you have organisational talent, the prospects are excellent.
