Staff work directly in the guests’ private space, which calls for trust, discretion and attention to detail. Room service duties

What is expected?
For room service, restaurant service experience, good manners and a neat appearance are important. Butlers also need several years in upscale hotels, very good languages (German and English, others a plus) and absolute discretion. If you have a fine sense for guests and like fulfilling wishes before they are spoken, this is the right job for you.
Working hours
Room service is available around the clock in many hotels, so there are early, late and night shifts. Butlers usually follow their guests’ rhythm and work in shifts. Supplements, tips and staff meals add to the salary.
